The dispatcher will notify appropriate <br />emergency responders. If the driver is unable to contact their dispatcher or supervisor, <br />contact emergency services (911) immediately. <br /> <br />• The following information should be provided to the dispatcher or emergency response <br />personnel: <br /> <br />✓ Address or location of accident <br /> <br />✓ Number of persons involved <br /> <br />✓ Injuries <br /> <br />✓ Nature of accident <br /> <br />• Move vehicles out of traffic if it is safe to do so and law enforcement allows. Turn on <br />warning lights or place traffic control devices if necessary. <br /> <br />• Complete Vehicle Accident Report Forms <br /> <br />• Obtain a copy of the police report prior to leaving the scene. <br /> <br />• The City of Everett is self-insured. The Motor Vehicle Department will arrange for <br />towing and repair of City vehicles when necessary. Contractors are responsible for <br />insurance, towing and repair of their vehicles. <br /> <br /> <br />Non-vehicular Accidents <br /> <br />Accidents of this nature that involve real or suspected property or bodily damage must be <br />reported to the dispatcher immediately. The dispatcher shall notify management and the <br />appropriate agency for follow up and investigation. <br />
