Exhibit A LL <br /> FY <br /> 3. Prepare preliminary design (30%) drawings for the stormwater conveyance facilities. <br /> 4. Prepare an Engineer Opinion of Probable Construction Cost (OPCC; Association for the <br /> Advancement of Cost Engineering [AACE] Class 3). <br /> 5. Prepare for and attend the following meetings: <br /> a. Up to two (2) stakeholder meetings with City staff for up to two (2) hours each in <br /> duration. It is assumed that the meetings will be conducted via MS Teams (or other <br /> web-based virtual platform), and up to three (3) consultant staff may attend each <br /> meeting. <br /> i. The first coordination meeting will review connections, disconnections, and concept <br /> piping alignments. <br /> ii. The second meeting will review BNSF and WSDOT crossing pre-design, agency <br /> requirements, and preliminary utility/agency coordination planning and discussions. <br /> Client Responsibilities <br /> 1. Provide design and record drawings for existing storm drainage infrastructure in the project <br /> area. <br /> 2. Schedule City staff participation in meetings and workshops included in the scope. <br /> 3. Complete review meeting notes and decision log within seven (7) calendar days. After this <br /> time, the notes and decision logs will be finalized and archived as part of the project record. <br /> 4. Provide reviews, as needed, with one set of consolidated (conflict resolved) comments on <br /> the draft technical memoranda within ten (10) business days of receiving draft submittal <br /> documents. <br /> 5. Address easements, ROW, and property acquisitions necessary for the conveyance <br /> facilities. <br /> Assumptions <br /> 1. Basin surface runoff characteristics from the City Lowell Basin Plan will be used for <br /> conveyance sizing. <br /> 2. Conveyance design will rely on gravity design, and force mains will not be required. <br /> 3. Project site reconnaissance for the conveyance system is addressed under Task 510. <br /> 4. Review of record drawings and files of existing utility information is addressed under Task <br /> 410. <br /> 5. ROW, property, and easement procurement is not required for the conveyance system <br /> design. <br /> 6. Utility potholing is not included in the scope and will be part of a subsequent work phase. <br /> 7. The conveyance design calculations, concept design sheets, and conveyance cost estimate <br /> sheets will be incorporated into the Task 500 Draft Hydrologic, Hydraulic, and Water Quality <br /> Design Technical Memorandum. <br /> 8. The workshop to present preliminary design findings will be combined with the stormwater <br /> treatment workshop and is addressed under Task 500. <br /> 9. Preliminary design of the stormwater discharge outfall is addressed in Task 600. <br /> 10.
