Exhibit A LL
YZ
a. Site review of the potential outfall locations on the Snohomish River, including
conveyance alignment from the stormwater treatment facility and potential crossing
locations for the WSDOT 1-5 and BNSF railroad crossings to the proposed Snohomish
River outfall.
b. Optional follow-up review of the selected outfall site and WSDOT 1-5 and BNSF crossing
locations.
c. Preparation of an outfall site conditions memorandum to document findings of the data
review and site reconnaissance inclusive of data gaps and supplemental data needs for
the project preliminary design.
3. Evaluate routing options and feasibility from the stormwater treatment facility to the potential
outfall locations based on the results of the data review and field reconnaissance.
4. Prepare for and attend a meeting with City Staff for up to two (2) hours in duration. It is
assumed that the meeting will be conducted via MS Teams (or other web-based virtual
platform), and up to four (4) consultant staff may attend. The meeting will outline potential
outfall options with associated conveyance alignment and WSDOT/BNSF crossing
considerations:
a. Prepare up to two exhibits on the proposed conveyance, routing, and outfall site to
facilitate meeting discussions.
Client Responsibilities
1. Schedule City staff participation in meetings and workshops included in the scope.
2. Complete review of meeting notes and decision log within 7 calendar days. After this time,
the notes and decision logs will be finalized and archived as part of the project record.
3. Provide reviews, as needed, with one (1) set of consolidated (conflict resolved) comments
on the draft technical memoranda within ten (10) business days of receiving draft submittal
documents.
Assumptions
1. Discharge will be in compliance with the City's municipal stormwater permit.
2. Survey of the river channel will not be required to develop the concept HEC-RAS modeling.
3. It is assumed that one hydraulic model will be provided for the selected outfall location, and
additional hydraulic models will not be required for an alternative siting analysis or for an
interim condition assessment.
4. Federal Emergency Management Agency applications and submittals will be addressed in a
subsequent stage of design and are not included.
Deliverables
1.
