Exhibit A <br /> FY2 <br /> Task 800 Preliminary Design Report <br /> Objective <br /> The objective of this task is to prepare a Draft Preliminary Design Report to document the <br /> preliminary stormwater infrastructure and treatment facilities preliminary design. <br /> Consultant Services <br /> 1. Prepare a Draft Preliminary Design Report for the selected alternative based on draft <br /> technical memoranda, cost estimate, and 30% draft design drawings completed under Task <br /> 400, Task 500, and Task 600. The report will include: <br /> a. Introduction and overview <br /> b. Basin description <br /> c. Site description <br /> d. City's NPDES stormwater permit analysis and summary of project goals <br /> e. Summary of stormwater treatment alternatives considered <br /> f. Design analysis to document the treatment alternative selected <br /> g. Evaluation of the project water quality benefit <br /> h. OPCC summary <br /> i. Proposed project schedule through final design and construction <br /> 2. Appendices to include figures, referenced documents, and design calculations. <br /> 3. Prepare for and attend one (1) meeting with City staff for up to two (2) hours to present the <br /> report findings and discuss review comments on the Draft Preliminary Design Report. It is <br /> assumed that the meeting will be conducted via MS Teams (or other web-based virtual <br /> platform and that up to three (3) consultant team staff may attend. <br /> Client Responsibilities <br /> 1. Provide access to available drainage studies and reports relevant to the basin and proposed <br /> treatment facility locations. <br /> 2. Provide written consolidated comments for the Draft Preliminary Design Report. <br /> 3. Submit the Draft Preliminary Design Report packages and coordinate reviews with Ecology. <br /> Assumptions <br /> 1. The Preliminary Design Report is assumed to be up to forty (40) pages in length, including <br /> cover sheet and table of contents, and will include up to four(4) maps or figures. <br /> 2. The AACE Class 3 cost estimates prepared with Task 400 and Task 500 may be used in the <br /> report without updates. <br /> 3.
