FY <br /> Scope of Services <br /> The following scope of service by task has been developed to perform the connection charge <br /> study. <br /> Task 1 — Project Management— This task includes general project management activities that <br /> are required to complete the project on time and within budget. This includes allocating the <br /> appropriate labor resources to the project and working with the City's project manager to <br /> schedule meetings and provide monthly invoices and progress reports. <br /> Expected City Staff Support for Task 1: <br /> • Coordinate with the HDR project manager monthly on progress on of the tasks, budget and <br /> schedule. <br /> Deliverables as a Result of Task 1: <br /> • Coordination with the City's Project Manager. <br /> • Monthly invoices and progress reports. <br /> Task 2— Data Collection and Review—To conduct the study, certain data and information will <br /> be required. HDR will provide to the City an initial data request which provides a listing of the <br /> data and information required for this study. For the most part, the data and information should <br /> be readily available. The data will primarily be related to plant asset records and customer <br /> counts/equivalent units. The one area which will need to be closely reviewed is the number of <br /> impervious surface units (ISU) for the surface water connection charge study. <br /> Expected City Staff Support for Task 2: <br /> • Identification of data gaps or unavailable data. <br /> • Gather the data needed to update the study. <br /> Deliverables as a Result of Task 2: <br /> • An initial data request in electronic format. <br /> • Review of the data provided and identification of outstanding data needs. <br /> Task 3—Initial Project Meeting—At the start of the study, City staff and HDR team members will <br /> meet virtually to discuss the goals and objectives of the study as well as study challenges. Prior <br /> to the initial meeting HDR will provide an initial data request to the City to review. At the meeting <br /> the City and HDR team will go through the data request and discuss the availability of data <br /> requested and additional data that might be needed. <br /> Expected City Staff Support for Task 3: <br /> • Participate in a virtual meeting to review and discuss the connection charge study and data <br /> request. <br /> • Review the data needs, and inputs, for the study. <br /> • Gather the data needed to update the study. <br /> Deliverables as a Result of Task 3: <br /> • A one-hour virtual meeting to review and discuss the connection charge study with the <br /> hdrinc.com 929 108th Avenue NE Suite 1300 Bellevue,WA 98004-4361 <br /> (425)450-6200 <br />
