FY HDR will have developed a surface water connection charge per impervious surface unit (ISU). Expected City Staff Support for Task 4: • Respond to additional data requests or provide information as needed • Review technical analysis and provided feedback on an initial draft of the connection charge analysis. • Participate in a three-hour virtual meeting, to review the draft connection charge results. Deliverables as a Result of Task 4: • Draft connection charge analysis for the water, sewer and surface water utilities • A three-hour virtual meeting, to discuss the draft connection charge analysis. Task 5 — Study Documentation — After the technical analysis has been completed, HDR will prepare a written report documenting the steps taken in the development of the technical analysis, calculation of the connection charges and the study's findings and conclusions. HDR will provide the report in electric format to the City to review and provide comments, corrections or additions to be incorporated into the final report. The final report will be provided to the City in electronic format. Expected Commission Staff Support for Task 5: • Review and comment on the draft written report for the water rate study. Deliverables as a Result of Task 5: • An electronic version (e.g., Microsoft Word, PDF) of the draft written report. • An electronic version (e.g., Microsoft Word, PDF) of the final connection charge study. The above tasks conclude the proposed scope of services to assist the City in the development of the proposed connection charges. At this time the study assumes all virtual project meetings and no public presentations have been included. If City staff request additional services, such as public presentations, they will be provided on a time and material basis at current hourly rates and as agreed to in writing between HDR and the City. This proposed scope of services can be modified to meet the specific needs of City. Key Project Team Members Provided below is a brief discussion of each of the project team members for City's analysis. Kevin Lorentzen, Project Manager—Kevin will provide overall project management, review and of the analyses, as well as provide analytical support and guidance for the development of the proposed connection charges. Kevin has been involved in the past rates and charge studies HDR has conducted for the City in the since 2016. Judy Dean, Task Lead — Judy will be the task lead for the development of the proposed connection charges. Judy has assisted the City with the last connection charge study. In this role, Judy will lead the analytical tasks to develop the connection charges.
