It was determined that at least for the time being, <br />the maximum height for Detached ADUs proposed on non -alley lots is 18' (regardless of setbacks) in accordance with <br />EMC 19.06 and EMC 19.22. Unfortunately there are no exception or modification opportunities for non -alley DADUs to <br />exceed that height. We have noted this as a potential code to amend/revise in our next batch of code updates though <br />it's anticipated this will not be for another 6 months or so. <br />Attached ADUs on non -alley lots may be constructed in accordance with EMC 19.22.020.A.3, which does allow for <br />additional height provided the attachment requirements are met. Please refer to that code section for complete details. <br />The correction items from my email below still stand; please revise the proposal accordingly for further review. These <br />comments are only related to the land use code and do not account for all possible requirements from other <br />departments. For general permit questions, please contact Permit Services at PermitServices@everettwa.gov or <br />425.257.8810. In the meantime this permit application is on hold for Planning until the requested revisions have been <br />received demonstrating compliance with the code and submittal checklists.
