Please note the following comments are not a thorough plan check
review and they only address larger zoning compliance points and the submittal checklists.Additional comments may be
provided by the Building intake reviewer for your application; please utilize the Online Permitting Portal to check on the
status of other reviewers.
Planning cannot further review and/or approve your application submittals until the following revisions have been
addressed:
• Height Calculations. Height calculations should be provided in accordance with the Building height handout on
both the site plan and elevation plan(s).Additionally,a base elevation survey is required since the proposed
structure is within 1'of the maximum height allowed (18'). Please review and revise accordingly;the
appropriate survey form(s) can be found in the building height handout linked below.
• Site Plan. The site plan must be drawn to meet the minimum residential site plan checklist requirements
including but not limited to height calculations(correct as needed per the comment above), existing/proposed
driveways and materials, lot coverage by building calculations, etc. Please refer to the checklist for complete
details and revise the plan accordingly.
For reference, the residential construction submittal checklist is available online and includes the residential site plan
checklist and building height handout. Re-submittal instructions are outlined here; please submit at minimum 2 copies
of any revised documents/plans. Revisions for REVI121-025 should also be provided electronically and uploaded to your
project file via the Online Permitting Portal.
These comments are only related to the land use code and do not account for all possible requirements from other
departments. For general permit questions, please contact Permit Services at PermitServices@everettwa.gov or
425.257.8810. General Planning questions can be directed to the Planner On Duty at 425.257.8731 or
Planning@everettwa.gov. In the meantime these applications are on hold for further Planning review/processing until
the requested revisions have been received demonstrating compliance with the code and submittal checklists.
Additional comments or corrections may be required upon review of the requested information.
Best,
Kelsey Heyd
NEAssociate Planner 1 Community, Planning& Economic Development
425.257.8731 1 3200 Cedar Street 2nd Fl., Everett,WA 98201
EVERETT everettwa.gov 1 Facebook 1 Twitter
Note:Emails and attachments sent to and from the City of Everett are public records and may be subject to disclosure pursuant to
the Public Records Act.
1
