1. PROJECT OVERVIEW
This document is intended to provide engineering information necessary to support the
building permit application to the City of Everett for the SFR and driveway proposed on
this lot..The.site::is.located..at..6402..1iighlarad-Dr. SE, Everett, WA 98203; refer to Figure 1
for a vicinity map. This project will take access from the existing roadway to the east
(Highland Dr SE). The parcel area is approximately 0.14 acres. The existing site, in the
area of disturbance consists of an existing driveway, garage, walkway, and SFR, with the
remainder of the parcel being lawn. The slope of the site in the area of disturbance is mild
and average approximately 4 percent down to the northeast. The new SFR will be located
approximately 20 feet from the southeastern property line and 5 feet from the
southwestern property line.
This project proposes to construct more than 2,000 sf and less than 5,000 sf of new and
replaced impervious surfaces. Therefore, Minimum Requirements 1-5 apply to all of the
new and replaced impervious surfaces for this project along with all the converted
vegetated areas. The proposed impervious surfaces will be dispersed or tightlined to an
existing storm system via a perforated stubout connection. Included on the following page
is a copy of the MR flow chart from the City of Everett (COE) 2019 Department of Ecology.
Stormwater Management Manual for Western Washington (DOE SWMMWW).
Figures 2 & 3 are provided to show the existing and developed basins and runoff
conditions for this site. The runoff in the existing conditions sheet flows gradually over
vegetated surfaces to the northeast toward the northeastern property lines.
Due to the size of this project, Minimum Requirements 1-5 apply to the proposed drainage
design as noted above. The stormwater design has been laid out to meet the 2019 DOE
SWMMWW.
Kedrich SFR 20-0724
August 2020 Page 3
