Section 5: CIVIL SERVICE DEPARTIlleNT. There shall be in the civil Service Department the following named officers: One Secretary (part time) ; One Assistant Examiner (part time) ; one or more Special Examiners (part time ) . The Secretary, Assistant xaminer and other assistant - shall perform such duties as the Civil Service Commission shall authorize and direct . Section 6 : CITY POUND DEPARTMENT. There shall be in the City Pound Department one Poundmaster and one Assistant l'oundmaster. Such officer and Assistant shall perform such duties as pertain to tine nature of their office , and as the Commission er of Safety shall authorize and direct . Section 7 : POLICE COURT DEPARTMENT. There shall be in the Police Court Department the following named officer: One Clerk of the Court (part time) who shall perform the duties pertaining to his office . Section 8: PARK DEPARThENT. There shall be in the office of the .'ark Department the following named officers and assistants , to-wit: One Superintendent ; One . oreman; One Assistant Fore- man: Two Gardeners ; One Golf Professional ; Two Skilled Laborers; One Secretary (part time ) , One Zookeeper, and One or more day laborers (part time ) . The Park Department shall be under the general charge and supervision of the Park Superintendent . The other assistant- and employees shall perform such duties as pertain to the nature of their office and as authorized and directed by the Park Superintendent . Section 9 : PLAYGROUNDS DEPARTMENT. There shall be in the Playgrounds Department the following named officers and assistants , to-wiL : One Supervisor (part time ) ; One Life Guard (part time) and Two Playfield leaders (part time ) . Such officers and assistants shall perform such duties as pertain to the nature of their office. -2-
