• Section 14: POLICE DEPARTMENT. There shall be the following named officers and assistants in the Police Department , to-wit : One L'hief of Police ; Three Captains; One Sergeant Inspector; One Supt. bureau of Identification; Three Sergeants; Four Plain 'lothesmen; Twenty-one First-class Patrolmen; Three Second-class Patrolmen; Four Third-class Patrolmen_; One Police :woman; One Assistant rolice roman; One Jailer; and One Department Clerk. It shall be the duty of the officers and assistants in said Police Lepartment to perform the duties indicated by the name of their employment , and such other duties as the Chief of Police or commissioner of Safety may authorize and direct . Section 15: FIRE DEPARTMENT: There shall be the following named officers and assist- ants in the Fire Department, to-wit : One Chief of Fire Department; One erupt. Section 16: FIRE HYDRANT DEPART1t:EFT. •'here shall be the following named employee in the Fire Hydrant Department , to-wit : One Hydrant Repairman (part time ) . It shall be the duty of such employee to perform the duties indicated by the name of his employment and such other duties as the Chief of Fire Department or Commissioner of Safety may authorize and direct . -4-
