• <br /> ORDINANCE No. <br /> 3036 <br /> AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance No. 2440 of the City of <br /> Everett, entitled as follows: <br /> "AN ORDINANCE relating to and regulating the pro- <br /> duction, sale and distribution of milk and milk products <br /> in the City of Everett; providing for the inspection of <br /> all equipment used in handling the same and of all <br /> premises where the same is produced, prepared or sold; <br /> proviaing penalties for the violation thereof and re- <br /> pealing Ordinance No. 1642 and all ordinances and parts <br /> of ordinances in conflict herewith, " <br /> by amending Section 2 of said Ordinance, and by adding thereto <br /> Two (2 ) sections to be known as Section 17 and Section 18, and <br /> providing that this Ordinance shall take effect on September 1 , <br /> 1945. <br /> THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That Section 2 of Ordinance No. 2440 of <br /> the City of Everett, entitled as above set forth, be , and the <br /> same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> Section 2: It shall be unlawful for any person, firm. <br /> association or corporation to sell for consumption in the City of <br /> Everett any milk without first having obtained a permit so to do <br /> from the Milk and Food Inspector of the City of Everett in the <br /> following manner, towit: <br /> An application for a permit to sell milk shall be made <br /> to the I: ilk and Food Inspector; it snail then be the duty of suc <br /> Milk and Food Inspector, upon receipt of such application, to make <br /> inspection of the Milk Plant or Dairy of such applicant within a <br /> reasonable time to determine whether such person, firm, associatios <br /> or corporation is qualified and his or its Milk Plant or Dairy <br /> is properly equipped and in a proper sanitary condition to engage <br /> in the production of and processing of milk or milk products for <br /> sale in Everett, as provided by this Ordinance. If, upon inspection, <br /> said Milk and food Inspector finds that the applicant has complies <br /> with all the requirements of this Ordinance he shall issue a permi . <br /> Section 2: That Ordinance No. 2 440 of the City of <br /> Everett, entitled as above set forth, be , and the same is hereby <br /> amended by adding thereto a section to be known as Section 17 , <br /> which section shall read as follows: <br /> Section 17 : It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, <br /> association or corporation to operate a Milk Plant , as defined in <br /> Section 1, subsection s, of this Ordinance , without first complying <br /> with the following regulations: <br />
