• ORDINANCE No. 3036 AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance No. 2440 of the City of Everett, entitled as follows: "AN ORDINANCE relating to and regulating the pro- duction, sale and distribution of milk and milk products in the City of Everett; providing for the inspection of all equipment used in handling the same and of all premises where the same is produced, prepared or sold; proviaing penalties for the violation thereof and re- pealing Ordinance No. 1642 and all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith, " by amending Section 2 of said Ordinance, and by adding thereto Two (2 ) sections to be known as Section 17 and Section 18, and providing that this Ordinance shall take effect on September 1 , 1945. THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That Section 2 of Ordinance No. 2440 of the City of Everett, entitled as above set forth, be , and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: Section 2: It shall be unlawful for any person, firm. association or corporation to sell for consumption in the City of Everett any milk without first having obtained a permit so to do from the Milk and Food Inspector of the City of Everett in the following manner, towit: An application for a permit to sell milk shall be made to the I: ilk and Food Inspector; it snail then be the duty of suc Milk and Food Inspector, upon receipt of such application, to make inspection of the Milk Plant or Dairy of such applicant within a reasonable time to determine whether such person, firm, associatios or corporation is qualified and his or its Milk Plant or Dairy is properly equipped and in a proper sanitary condition to engage in the production of and processing of milk or milk products for sale in Everett, as provided by this Ordinance. If, upon inspection, said Milk and food Inspector finds that the applicant has complies with all the requirements of this Ordinance he shall issue a permi . Section 2: That Ordinance No. 2 440 of the City of Everett, entitled as above set forth, be , and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto a section to be known as Section 17 , which section shall read as follows: Section 17 : It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, association or corporation to operate a Milk Plant , as defined in Section 1, subsection s, of this Ordinance , without first complying with the following regulations:
