Project summary statement: This resolution is to establish primary and alternate representation on the Washington State Transit Insurance Pool (WSTIP) Board of Directors. The City of Everett on behalf of Everett Transit has been a member of WSTIP since 2005. The Interlocal Agreement requires a legislative action to change or update the official representation on the board. The last update was March 6, 2019. Since then, there have been some organizational changes within Everett Transit, including the establishment of the Operations Manager to be the prime liaison with WSTIP for operational issues, safety/training and collision review. The Transportation Services and Transit Director, who is designated as the primary board member, has been renamed Transit Director. In addition, staff recommends adding the Finance and Budget Coordinator as a third alternate to the board. Recommendation (exact action requested of Council): Adopt a Resolution to establish primary and alternate representation on the Washington State Transit Insurance Pool (WSTIP) Board of Directors.
