<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. ______________ <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION to establish primary and alternate representation on the Washington State <br />Transit Insurance Pool (WSTIP) Board of Directors. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />A. The City of Everett on behalf of Everett Transit has been a member of the Washington State risk <br />management coalition for public transit since 2005. <br /> <br />B. The coalition is also known as the Washington State Transit Insurance Pool (WSTIP). <br /> <br />C. It is the responsibility of the member to establish primary and alternative representation to the <br />WSTIP Board of Directors. <br /> <br />D. The WSTIP interlocal agreement requires a member’s governing body to authorize changes to <br />the designated representation on the WSTIP Board of Directors. <br /> <br />E. Everett Transit’s organizational structure has changed since the last update to WSTIP, which was <br />March 6, 2019. <br /> <br />F. Everett Transit recognizes the Operations Manager as the primary liaison between WSTIP and <br />Everett Transit for day to day operations and oversight of safety, training and collision <br />investigations. <br /> <br />G. The primary board representative identified as the Transportation Services and Transit Director <br />is now identified as the Transit Director. <br /> <br />H. Everett Transit desires to appoint the Finance and Budget Coordinator as an additional <br />alternate. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT: <br /> <br />The approved appointees to represent the City of Everett/Everett Transit on the WSTIP Board of <br />Directors shall be as follows: <br /> <br />Board Director – Everett Transit Director <br /> <br />1st Alternate – Everett Transit Operations Manager <br /> <br />2nd Alternate – Everett Transit Finance and Budget Coordinator <br />
