November 9, 2022 <br />1 <br /> <br />The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 p.m., <br />November 9, 2022, President Stonecipher presiding. <br /> <br />Upon roll call, it was found that Mayor Franklin and Council Members Fosse, <br />Rhyne, Schwab, Vogeli, Zarlingo, and Stonecipher were present. Council Member <br />Tuohy was excused. <br /> <br />Council Member Zarlingo led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> <br />On behalf of the City Council, Council Member Vogeli acknowledged the original <br />inhabitants of this place, the sduhubš people, and their successors, the Tulalip <br />Tribes. <br /> <br />The minutes of the November 2, 2022, City Council meeting were approved as <br />printed. <br /> <br /> <br />MAYOR <br /> <br />APPOINTMENT <br /> <br />Moved by Council Member Rhyne, seconded by Council Member Fosse, to <br />concur with the following appointment: <br /> <br />Planning Commission <br />• Alternate POS 1, Alex Lark: 6-year term <br /> <br /> <br />Roll was called with all council members voting yes except Council Member <br />Tuohy, who was excused. <br /> <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mayor Franklin stated that the Wendt and Mayor’s Arts Awards nominations are <br />open. She also stated that Wintertide begins on November 25.
