Project summary statement: In 2017, the City entered into an agreement with the Snohomish County Superior Court to provide jury management services to the Everett Municipal Court. In December 2019, Amendment No. 1 was approved which increased the number of jurors provided by the Superior Court from 13 to 18. The 2017 agreement expires December 31, 2022. The City and the Superior Court desire to extend the term of the agreement to December 31, 2024, by entering into Amendment No. 2. Recommendation (exact action requested of Council): Authorize the Mayor to sign Amendment No. 2 to extend the term of the agreement between the City of Everett and Snohomish County Superior Court for jury management services to December 31, 2024.
