AMENDMENT NO. 2 <br />AGREEMENT BETWEEN <br />CITY OF EVERETT AND SNOHOMISH COUNTY SUPERIOR COURT <br />FOR JURY MANAGEMENT SERVICES <br />This Amendment No. 2 is dated for reference purposes December 31, 2022. It is <br />by and between the City of Everett, a municipal corporation under the laws of the State of <br />Washington ("Everett") and the Snohomish County Superior Court, a State of <br />Washington Superior Court in and for Snohomish County ("Superior Court"). <br />RECITALS <br />Everett and the Superior Court are parties to an Agreement for Jury Management <br />Services effective July 15, 2017, as amended by Amendment No. 1 dated on or about <br />December 2, 2019 (as amended, the "Agreement"). Everett and the Supeiior Court desire <br />to extend the term of the Agreement <br />AGREEMENT <br />Everett and the Superior Court agree as follows: <br />1. Section 8 of the Agreement is modified so that the Agreement shall remain in <br />effect through December 31, 2024, unless terminated as provided in Section 9 of <br />the Agreement This extension is effective regardless of the dates of the parties' <br />signatures on this Amendment <br />2. All provisions in the Agreement shall remain in effect except as expressly <br />modified by this Amendment <br />3. This Amendment may be signed in counterparts, each of which shall be deemed an <br />original, and all of which, taken together, shall be deemed one and the same <br />document. E xecution of this Amendment by a party shall be legally valid and <br />effective by (i) executing a paper copy, (ii) execution by AdobeSign or DocuSign <br />or other e-signature method, or (iii) transmitting an executed copy by email or <br />otherwise in pdf format or other electronically scanned format. <br />[remainder of page blank; signatures on following page] <br />
