7.0 EQUIPMENT EVALUATION <br />7.1 Scanners Added to Robots <br />7.1.1 System Description <br />The equipment inspected consists of Scanners Added to Robots <br />manufactured by Electroimpact. The equipment is rated at <br />480VAC, 3 Phase, 60HZ, 40 Amps, Largest Load 9 Amps, 10 KA <br />and an existing approved and labeled robot was modified with <br />additional scanners. The equipment is installed indoors in an <br />ordinary (non -hazardous) location, and has been evaluated for use <br />in this location only. <br />7.1.2 Grounding <br />Exposed non -current carrying parts of the equipment were verified <br />to be effectively grounded in accordance with the applicable <br />provisions of NEC°, Article 250. <br />7.1.3 Guarding of Live Parts <br />All internal components are enclosed in a grounded, screw closed, <br />metal enclosure, and are effectively guarded per NEC', Section <br />110.27. <br />7.1.4 Overcurrent Protection <br />Overcurrent protection was provided by a 40 Amp branch rated <br />fuses. Additional overcurrent protection was provided by devices <br />as shown on the electrical diagrams. <br />7.1.5 Wiring <br />All wiring was found to be UL listed or recognized type MTW/THHN <br />or equivalent. <br />7.1.6 Equipment Discrepancies <br />No discrepancies were observed during the evaluation of the <br />equipment listed in Section 5.0 . <br />Reference No.: 1099539 Page 5 <br />
