Evaluation/Required outcomes for agencies
Our main outcome is officer participation in the screening program. We will
promote the voluntary screening opportunity throughout the department and
ensure the service is available at a time and location convenient for our officers.
Our evaluation will document our outreach efforts, participation rates, and
feedback from our officers.
D. Attachments
a. List of officers and directors involved in the program.
Deputy Chief Irving will oversee this program, with support from our Human
Resources Department and the training unit within the police department.
b. Include MOUs that may be in place or letters of agreement.
N/A
E. Finances
Our program budget is attached. We are requesting funds to provide 215 officers with a
comprehensive cardiac screening. While we will need to solicit proposals to determine
the actual cost, our preliminary review of several known health screening service
providers estimates a cost of up to $799 per screening. To offer this for all 215 officers,
the total would be up to $172,000.
Page 5of5
