Exhibit A <br />Scope of Work <br />The purpose of this amendment to this contract is to modify architectural and engineering services to <br />combine the following facilities to the scope of services: South Police Precinct Locker Room Renovations, <br />Police Head Quarters, and Police Firing Range Roof Replacement. The scope of work will provide <br />additional design, engineering and construction services. <br />City of Everett South Police Precinct Men's and Women's Restroom and Locker Room located at 1121 SE <br />Everett Mall Way, Police Head Quarters Exterior Awning Replacement and Office/Conference Room <br />renovations located at 2008 Wetmore Avenue, and Police Firing Range Roof Replacement at 701'/z East <br />Mukilteo Blvd., Everett, Washington. <br />PRELIMINARY DESIGN: <br />1. Develop preliminary drawings based on items discussed during site walkthrough. <br />2. Provide preliminary design drawings for review and approval. <br />3. Meet with owner to discuss and modify preliminary design drawings as necessary based on outcome of <br />meeting. <br />CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS: <br />1. Provide construction cost estimate at 90% percent drawings. <br />2. Develop drawings as required to put project out to bid. <br />3. Drawings will include architectural information including plans, elevations, and details as necessary to <br />convey the scope of work and product selections to bidding contractors. <br />4. Product specifications will be included on the drawings. <br />5. Provide specification. <br />BIDDING: <br />1. Assist with contractor questions and perform a walkthrough of the spaces with bidding contractors. <br />CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION: <br />1. Provide owner with construction support as required to construct the renovations. <br />2. Answer RFIs and other questions during the construction process. <br />3. Prepare punch list associated with the work when construction has been substantially completed. <br />4. It is presumed that the city project manager will handle day-to-day construction administration <br />activities. <br />TOTAL MAXIMUM COMPENSATION (Hourly not to exceed): <br />Architectural & Engineering Services <br />Construction Documents <br />Bidding Services <br />Construction Administration <br />Reimbursable Expenses <br />Subtotal Architectural Services <br />$22,000.00 <br />$20,000.00 <br />$ 6,800.00 <br />$ 8,900.00 <br />$ 3.000.00 <br />$60,700.00 <br />DESIGN CONTINGENCY FEE (IF REQUIRED): <br />Additional Services that may be needed based upon any issues that surface during the design and <br />construction of the project as approved ONLY In Writing by the authorized City representative. <br />TOTAL CONTINGENCY FEE $ 9,000.00 <br />TOTAL FEE $69,700.00 <br />
