PROJECT NOTES
<br />1. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL TRAFFIC CONTROL ON -SITE AND SHALL
<br />COORDINATE ALL ACTIVITIES WITH THE OWNER AND ENGINEER A MINIMUM OF TWO (2) WEEKS
<br />IN ADVANCE OF THE BEGINNING OF WORK. THE CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR PROVIDING
<br />ALL TRAFFIC CONTROL SIGNS. SAFE VEHICULAR AND PEDESTRIAN ACCESS SHALL BE PROVIDED

<br />2. THE LOCATION OF ALL UTILITIES SHOWN ON THIS PLAN IS APPROXIMATE. THE CONTRACTORSHALL VERIFY THE EXISTING UTILITIES PRIOR TO EXCAVATION. TO LOCATE OFF -SITE UTILITIES,
<br />CALL THE UNDERGROUND LOCATE LINE AT 811. FOR ON -SITE UTILITIES CONTACT BOEING PM
<br />FOR RECOMMENDATIONS.
<br />3. WHERE CONFLICTS OCCUR BETWEEN EXISTING FEATURES AND THE PLACEMENT OF NEW
<br />FACILITIES, THEY SHALL BE BROUGHT TO THE ATTENTION OF THE ENGINEER BY THE
<br />CONTRACTOR, AND WILL BE RESOLVED BY THE ENGINEER.
<br />4. THE CONTRACTOR FOR THIS PROJECT SHALL MAINTAIN A CLEAN, LEGIBLE SET OF THESE
<br />PLANS AND NOTE ALL DEVIATIONS THEREON. UPON COMPLETION OF CONSTRUCTION, THESE

<br />WALK-THROUGH MEETING.
<br />9. EXISTING LANDSCAPE AREAS TO REMAIN WHICH ARE DISTURBED DURING CONSTRUCTION ARE
<br />TO BE RESTORED TO ORIGINAL CONDITION.
<br />CONSTRUCTION SEQUENCE
<br />1. COORDINATE TRAFFIC CONTROL PLAN AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROCEDURES WITH OWNER AND
<br />ENGINEER PRIOR TO BEGINNING WORK.
<br />2. HOLD THE PRE -CONSTRUCTION MEETING WITH CITY OF EVERETT OFFICIALS, OWNER OR OWNER'S
<br />REPRESENTATIVE.
<br />3. POST SIGN WITH NAME AND PHONE NUMBER OF EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROL (ESC)

<br />5. REMOVE SURFACE FEATURES, ASPHALT AND CONCRETE PAVEMENT, AND UTILITIES PER THE
<br />APPROVED PLANS.

<br />7. INSTALL STRUCTURAL FILL TO FINISHED SUBGRADE AND PAVE AND/OR LANDSCAPE SURFACES

<br />8. MAINTAIN EROSION CONTROL MEASURES IN ACCORDANCE WITH CITY STANDARDS AND
<br />MANUFACTURER'S RECOMMENDATIONS,
<br />9. STABILIZE ALL AREAS WITHIN SEVEN DAYS OF COMPLETION OF EARTHWORK ACTIVITIES.
<br />10, UPON COMPLETION OF THE PROJECT, STABILIZE ANY REMAINING DISTURBED AREAS AND

<br />11. REMOVE TRAFFIC CONTROL, EROSION CONTROL, AND POLLUTION PREVENTION MEASURES UPON
<br />APPROVAL FROM CITY INSPECTOR AND OWNER.
<br />DEWATERING NOTES
<br />1. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR DEWATERING ALL EXCAVATIONS. ALL WATER
<br />GENERATED FROM DEWATERING OPERATIONS SHALL 9E DISPOSED OF IN MANNER AND
<br />I_OCAT4ON APPROVED BY BDEING ENVIRONMENTAL. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PREPARE AND
<br />SUBMIT A DEWATERING PLAN PRIOR TO COMMENCING CONSTRUCTION.
<br />2. CONTRACTOR TO ANTICIPATE GROUNDWATER WITHIN 5 FEET OF SURFACE AND PROVIDE
<br />ALL EQUIPMENT NECESSARY TO DE -WATER EXCAVATIONS. COORDINATE DISCHARGE WITH
<br />OWNER IN TRAFFIC AREAS AND NEAR OPERATIONAL FACILITIES (I.E. SURFACE PIPING IS NOT
<br />ACCEPTABLE WITHOUT APPROPRIATE, APPROVED TRAFFIC CONTROL MEASURES).
<br />3. ALL GROUNDWATER WILL BE TREATED DEPENDING ON CONTAMINANTS AND DISCHARGED
<br />TO THE SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM. A WASTE DISCHARGE AUTHORIZATION WILL BE
<br />OBTAINED BY ENVIRONMENTAL AFFAIRS FOR THIS DISCHARGE. ALLOW 4-6 WEEKS
<br />TO OBTAIN THIS PERMIT,
<br />4. NO SEDIMENT, TURBID WATER, OR OTHER POLLUTANTS (HEAVY METALS, OIL SHEEN, ETC.)
<br />SHALL BE DISCHARGED TO THE ON -SITE STORMWATER SYSTEM. ANY TREATMENT OF
<br />COLLECTED WATER SHALL BE APPROVED BY BOEING ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING PRIOR TO
<br />DISCHARGE
<br />5. ANY DISCHARGE TO THE SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM WILL REQUIRE PRIOR COORDINATION

<br />6. THE CONTRACTOR'S LICENSED SURVEYOR WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR FIELD LOCATING THE
<br />CLEARING LIMITS AND ESTABLISHING THOSE BOUNDARIES WITH BRIGHT COLORED FLAGGING,
<br />PAINT, FENCING, OR OTHER VISIBLE MEANS. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL CLEAR TO THE
<br />LIMITS AS ESTABLISHED ON THIS PLAN AND AS MARKED IN THE FIELD.
<br />7. ALL WORK ASSOCIATED WITH STABILIZING THE DISTURBED AREAS SHALL BE IN
<br />ACCORDANCE WITH CURRENT CITY OF EVERETT STANDARDS.
<br />8. ALL NECESSARY FACILITIES SHALL BE MAINTAINED ON -SITE TO PREVENT DEBRIS, DUST
<br />AND MUD FROM ACCUMULATING ON BOEING STREETS AND THE PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY.
<br />9. THE CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR KEEPING EROSION CONTROL MEASURES
<br />FUNCTIONING. AFTER EACH DAY OF RAINFALL, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL INSPECT THE
<br />EROSION CONTROL FACILITIES FOR DAMAGE. IF DAMAGE HAS OCCURRED TO ANY OF THE
<br />FACILITIES, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL IMMEDIATELY MAKE ANY NECESSARY REPAIRS IN
<br />CONFORMANCE WITH THE APPROVED PLANS,.
<br />10, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL COMPLY WITH ALL REQUIREMENTS OF THE SITE'S CONSTRUCTION
<br />STORMWATER GENERAL PERMIT.
