<br />10. ANY AREA STRIPPED OF VEGETATION, INCLUDING EXCAVATION EMBANKMENTS, WHERE NO FURTHER

<br />11. THE TESC FACILITIES AT ACTIVE AREAS OF THE SITE SHALL BE INSPECTED AND MAINTAINED A

<br />12. CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE AND PROPERLY MAINTAIN CATCH BASIN INSERTS IN ALL EXISTING
<br />AND NEW CATCH BASINS WITHIN THE CONSTRUCTION LIMITS. AT NO TIME SHALL MORE THAN 6
<br />INCHES OF SEDIMENT BE ALLOWED TO ACCUMULATE WITHIN A CATCH BASIN INSERT. ALL CATCH
<br />BASINS AND CONVEYANCE LINES SHALL BE CLEARED PRIOR TO PLACING RIGID OR FLEXIBLE
<br />PAVEMENT. THE CLEARING OPERATION SHALL NOT FLUSH SEDIMENT -LADEN WATER INTO
<br />DOWNSTREAM SYSTEM.
<br />13. STABILIZED CONSTRUCTION ENTRANCES SHALL BE INSTALLED AT THE BEGINNING OF CONSTRUCTION
<br />AND MAINTAINED FOR THE DURATION OF THE PROJECT. ADDITIONAL MEASURES MAY BE REQUIRED
<br />TO INSURE THAT ALL PAVED AREAS ARE KEPT CLEAN FOR THE DURATION OF THE PROJECT.
<br />14. WHERE SEEDING IS REQUIRED AS A TEMPORARY STABILIZATION, FAST GERMINATING GRASSES SHALL
<br />BE APPLIED AT AN APPROPRIATE RATE (E.G. ANNUAL OR PERENNIAL RYE APPLIED AT
<br />APPROXIMATELY 80 LBS / ACRE).
<br />15. SCRAPING AND SWEEPING OF STREETS, SIDEWALKS, AND FLOWLINES MUST BE CONDUCTED AT THE
<br />END OF EACH WORK DAY (OR MORE FREQUENTLY, IF REQUESTED) WITH A VACUUM SWEEPER OR
<br />OTHER MEANS APPROVED BY BOEING ENVIRONMENTAL AFFAIRS.
<br />16. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL IMPLEMENT LINEAR RUN-ON CONTROLS TO PREVENT WATER FROM
<br />ENTERING THE CONSTRUCTION AREA.
<br />17. PROCESS WATER, WHICH INCLUDES CONCRETE WASHOUT, WHEEL WASH WATER, AND SWEEPER
<br />TRUCK WASTEWATER, SHALL BE HAULED OFFSITE TO AN APPROPRIATE DISPOSAL SITE, OR
<br />DISCHARGED AFTER TREATMENT TO THE SANITARY SEWER WITH LOCAL AGENCY AND BOEING
<br />ENVIRONMENTAL AFFAIRS APPROVAL. PROCESS WATER SHALL NOT BE DISCHARGED TO THE STORM

<br />18. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL REEFER TO "WASHINGTON DEPARTMENT OF ECOLOGY 2012 STORMWATER
<br />MANAGEMENT MANUAL FOR WESTERN WASHINGTON, AS AMENDED IN DECEMBER 2014" FOR ANY
<br />EROSION AND SEDIMENTATION CONTROLS. AS APPROVED BY ENVIRONMENTAL AFFAIRS, THE
<br />CONTRACTOR SHALL IMPLEMENT STORMWATER BMPS CONTAINED IN THIS MANUAL, INCLUDING THE
<br />PROPER SELECTION, IMPLEMENTATION, AND MAINTENANCE OF ALL APPLICABLE AND APPROPRIATE
<br />BMPS FOR ON -SITE EROSION, SEDIMENTATION, AND POLLUTION CONTROL.
<br />19. STATIONARY EQUIPMENT CONTAINING MORE THAN 55 GALLONS OF OIL/FUELS REQUIRES

<br />THAT PROTECT THE SOIL FROM THE EROSIVE FORCES OF RAINDROP IMPACT, FLOWING WATER, AND
<br />WIND.
<br />2. FULL STABILIZATION MEANS ALL SOIL DISTURBING ACTIVITIES AT THE SITE HAVE BEEN COMPLETED
<br />AND AREAS WHERE THE SOIL OR NATURAL VEGETATIVE COVER HAS BEEN DISTURBED HAVE BEEN
<br />PROPERLY COVERED AND ACCEPTED TO MEET PERMANENT EROSION CONTROL. PERMANENT
<br />EROSION CONTROL CAN INCLUDE CONCRETE OR ASPHALT PAVING: QUARRY SPALLS USED AS DITCH
<br />LINING; APPLICATION OF THICK LAYERS OF GRAVEL OR MULCH; OR VEGETATIVE COVER IN A
<br />MANNER THAT WILL FULLY PREVENT SOIL EROSION. WHERE THE TERM "FULLY ESTABLISHED" IS
<br />USED TO DESCRIBE_ VEGETATIVE COVER OR PLANTINGS, IT SHALL BE UNDERSTOOD TO MEAN THAT

<br />THE STRONG ROOT STRUCTURES OF WELL ESTABLISHED VEGETATION ARE AN ESSENTIAL
<br />MECHANISM IN CONTROLLING SOIL EROSION. THE CITY WILL INSPECT AND MUST APPROVE ALL
<br />AREAS AS FULLY STABILIZED BEFORE THE RELEASE OF FINANCIAL GUARANTEES.
<br />3. TEMPORARY EROSION CONTROL MEASURES SHALL REMAIN IN PLACE UNTIL PERMANENT MEASURES
<br />ARE ESTABLISHED.
<br />4. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL INSPECT ALL SEEDED AREAS FOR FAILURES AND RE -SEED, FERTILIZER,
<br />AND MULCH WITHIN THE PLANTING SEASON, USING NOT LESS THAN HALF THE ORIGINAL
<br />APPLICATION RATES. ANY REVEGETATION EFFORTS THAT DO NOT PROVIDE ADEQUATE COVER MUST
