1 <br /> 2 This requirement may be satisfied instead through the Contractor's primary Commercial 1 <br /> 3 General and Automobile Liability coverages, or any combination thereof that achieves the <br /> 4 overall required limits of insurance. <br /> 5 <br /> 6 COE 1-07.18(5)J.RTF <br /> 7 1-07.18(5)J Pollution Liability <br /> 8 (January 4, 2016 APWA GSP) <br /> 9 <br /> 10 The Contractor shall provide a Contractors Pollution Liability policy, providing coverage for <br /> 11 claims involving bodily injury, property damage (including loss of use of tangible property <br /> 12 that has not been physically injured), cleanup costs, remediation, disposal or other handling <br /> 13 of pollutants, including costs and expenses incurred in the investigation, defense, or <br /> 14 settlement of claims, arising out of any one or more of the following: <br /> 15 1. Contractor's operations related to this project. I <br /> 16 2. Remediation, abatement, repair, maintenance or other work with lead-based paint or <br /> 17 materials containing asbestos. <br /> 18 3. Transportation of hazardous materials away from any site related to this project. <br /> 19 <br /> 20 All entities listed under 1-07.18(2) of these Special Provisions shall be named by <br /> 21 endorsement as additional insureds on the Contractors Pollution Liability insurance policy. <br /> 22 <br /> 23 Such Pollution Liability policy shall provide the following minimum limits: <br /> 24 *** $2,000,000 *** each loss and annual aggregate <br /> 25 <br /> 26 1-07.23.GR1 <br /> 27 Public Convenience and Safety <br /> 28 <br /> 29 1-07.23(1).GR1 <br /> 30 Construction Under Traffic <br /> 31 <br /> 32 1-07.23(1),INST1.GR1 <br /> 33 Section 1-07.23(1) is supplemented with the following: <br /> 34 <br /> 35 f1-07.23(1).OPT5.FR1.docx <br /> 36 (January 5, 2015) <br /> 37 Lane closures are subject to the following restrictions: <br /> 38 <br /> 39 *** <br /> 40 Madison St and Mukilteo Blvd <br /> 41 Street closures will not be allowed on arterial streets. Lane closures requiring <br /> 42 flaggers are not allowed between 2:30pm and 5:30pm on weekdays. Closures <br /> 43 require traffic control plan approval three days prior to closure.There are no time <br /> 44 restrictions on parking or shoulder closures. <br /> 45 <br /> 46 52nd St and 47th St <br /> 47 Street closures will not be allowed on arterial streets. There are no day or time <br /> 48 restrictions on single lane closures on workdays. Closures require traffic control <br /> 49 plan approval three days prior to closure.
