The protective overlay film shall be a <br /> 25 transparent, self adhesive film that is solvent resistant and approved for use by the <br /> 26 reflective sheeting manufacturer. <br /> 27 <br /> 28 8-21.3 Construction Requirements <br /> 39 <br /> 30 8-21.3(4) Sign Removal <br /> 31 <br /> 32 This section is revised to read: <br /> 33 <br /> 34 Where shown in the Plans or ordered by the Engineer, the existing signs and, if so <br /> 35 indicated, the sign structures shall be removed by the Contractor. Where indicated, <br /> 36 the Contractor shall remove concrete pedestals to a minimum of 1 foot below finished <br /> 37 grade and backfill the hole to the satisfaction of the Engineer. Where an existing sign <br /> 38 post is located within a sidewalk area, the Contractor shall remove the post and finish <br /> 39 the area to make the sidewalk continuous.
