The protective overlay film shall be a 25 transparent, self adhesive film that is solvent resistant and approved for use by the 26 reflective sheeting manufacturer. 27 28 8-21.3 Construction Requirements 39 30 8-21.3(4) Sign Removal 31 32 This section is revised to read: 33 34 Where shown in the Plans or ordered by the Engineer, the existing signs and, if so 35 indicated, the sign structures shall be removed by the Contractor. Where indicated, 36 the Contractor shall remove concrete pedestals to a minimum of 1 foot below finished 37 grade and backfill the hole to the satisfaction of the Engineer. Where an existing sign 38 post is located within a sidewalk area, the Contractor shall remove the post and finish 39 the area to make the sidewalk continuous.
