I <br /> 1 CNH 8-22 PMNT MARKING-Type D.rtf <br /> I2 8-22 PAVEMENT MARKING <br /> 3 (******) <br /> I 4 <br /> 5 Section 8-22 of the Standard Specification is supplemented by the following: <br /> 6 <br /> 1 7 8-22.2 Materials <br /> 8 <br /> 9 All plastic marking shall be Type B or Type D plastic. Spray Type D is not allowed. <br /> I 10 <br /> 11 8-22.3 Construction Requirements <br /> 12 <br /> 13 Pavement markings shall be installed in accordance with Section 8-22.3 of the Standard <br /> 14 Specifications with the following modifications: <br /> 15 <br /> 16 1) All Stop Line shall be 24" wide Type D extruded plastic flat line. Spray Type D is <br /> I17 not allowed. <br /> 18 2) All Crosswalk Line shall be solid white lines, 24"wide, installed in accordance with <br /> I 19 20 City of Everett Standard Drawing No. 721 and shall be Type D extruded plastic <br /> flat line. Spray Type D is not allowed. <br /> I 21 3) All two-way left turn yellow lines and lane lines dividing two opposing directions of <br /> 22 travel shall be Type D plastic flat line. <br /> I23 4) Profiled plastic Type D material, where called for in the Appendices to the Special <br /> 24 Provisions, shall be used for lane line dividing traffic in the same direction of travel <br /> 25 including plastic skip white lane line, and solid white edge line, or other lines <br /> 26 staked by the Engineer. <br /> I27 5) All white parking lines shall be paint line. <br /> 28 6) All wide line and dotted extension line shall be Type D plastic flat line. <br /> 29 7) Access parking space symbols, arrows, letters, and speed hump symbols shall be <br /> I30 Type D extruded plastic flat line. Spray Type D is not allowed. <br /> 31 8) All plastic shared lane markings (sharrows) and plastic bicycle lane symbols shall <br /> 32 be Type B Pre-formed Fused Thermoplastic. <br /> I <br /> 33 9) Green background for sharrows and plastic bicycle lane symbol, where indicated <br /> 34 in the plans, shall be pantone color 375 Type B Pre-formed fused thermoplastic. <br /> I35 <br /> 36 8-22.4 Measurement <br /> I 37 <br /> 38 Crosswalk line and stop line will be measured by the linear foot of 24" wide marking <br /> 39 installed. <br /> I 40 <br /> 41 Crosswalk line 12" wide marking will be measured by linear foot, installed. <br /> I <br /> FLEMING BICYCLE CORRIDOR 75 <br /> IPW 3767 November 15, 2022 <br />
