ENGAGEMENT SUMMARY
This Statement of Work ("SOW") is made as of 01/09/2023 (the "Effective Date") by and between City of
Everett ("Customer") and CompuNet, Inc. This SOW is made a part of and is subject to the Terms and
Conditions (Appendix A). Collectively, this SOW, and Appendix A are referred to as the "Agreement."
CompuNet, Inc. will provide services to Customer under this Agreement as further described below.
Overview Of Services
Executive Summary
The City of Everett has made the decision to migrate their unified communications (UC) platform from an
on-premises NEC system to Microsoft Teams with Direct Routing.
The migration to Microsoft Teams will alleviate the need for specialization with the NEC system while
consolidating all phone, chat, and collaboration into a single tool (Microsoft Teams). The Customer has
requested that CompuNet assess the current state of their telephony environment as well as their plan
to migrate their phone system to Microsoft Teams. The intention of this scope of work is to validate The
Customer's plan to migrate to Microsoft Teams. In addition, as The Customer's Trusted Advisors,
CompuNet would provide The Customer with additional considerations for their migration plans.
Project Overview
Assessment Overview
This engagement will be used to define the organizational objectives of a Microsoft Teams telephony
migration, discover the current state of the existing telephony system, discover the current state of the
Microsoft Teams telephony configuration, and determine the best methods for how to get The Customer's
Microsoft Teams telephony configuration to a future state that meets the defined objectives and future
state requirements. The result of this assessment will be a gap analysis and a high-level migration plan
that will allow The Customer to successfully implement Microsoft Teams as their telephony solution.
Current State Discovery Sessions
The engagement will consist of discovery sessions our CompuNet Engineering team will lead. The
discovery sessions will consist of a series of exercises that will help the CompuNet team learn more
about the current state of The Customer's existing telephony environment. The goal of the discovery
sessions is to uncover any requirements that exist with the existing telephony system as well as any
gaps that exist with the current Microsoft Teams configuration. These sessions will help identify any
challenges that should be considered while migrating to the Microsoft Teams telephony solution so a plan
can be created to handle those challenges while setting reasonable expectations of the telephony
solution.
Future State Workshop Sessions
The Future State Workshop will lead The Customer through sessions that will help define the vision of
what the future Microsoft Teams telephony environment will become. During the Workshop, solutions will
City of Everett
Microsoft Teams Telephony Migration
Assessment
