February 1, 2023 <br />7 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />President Stonecipher also requested an evaluation of the impact these issues have on the City’s <br />overtime budgets. <br /> <br />President Stonecipher announced that the Mayor is convening a working group on the Project <br />Labor Agreement (PLA) and has appointed Council Member Schwab and Vice President Tuohy to <br />be on the committee. <br /> <br />Council Member Rhyne requested a deadline for the PLA report to be brought back to Council in <br />a timely manner. Executive Director Lori Cummings stated that the committee in currently being <br />formed, initial meeting to be scheduled in March, and it will be about a six-month process, <br />finishing by summer. <br /> <br />President Stonecipher re-opened the council priorities discussion with Kathy Solberg. <br /> <br />• Transportation <br />• Levy Lid Lift <br />• Worker Issues/Labor (PLA) <br />• Planning & Land Use (Major Infrastructure) <br />• Stadium <br />• Child Care <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION: <br /> <br />The City Council recessed for an executive session at 9:04 p.m., began the executive session at <br />9:05 p.m. and reconvened at 9:10 p.m. <br /> <br />City Attorney David Hall provided a brief overview of a settlement claim with Nationwide <br />Insurance Company of America. <br /> <br /> SETTLEMENT – NATIONWIDE INSURANCE COMPANY OF AMERICA <br /> <br />Moved by Council Member Rhyne, seconded by Council Member Tuohy, to authorize a <br />settlement with Nationwide Insurance Company of America in the amount of $25,000, for a <br />segregated claim resulting from a sewer back-up in the Ryan Reid residence, as the remainder <br />of the reimbursement. <br /> <br /> <br />Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br />
