North Basin: Runoff from the northwest parking area will be captured by a catch basin and
conveyed north to a French drain that collects runoff from the sidewalk and landscaping north
of the building. The French drain conveys the runoff easterly to the conveyance system in the
eastern parking lot that also collects runoff from the service entrance area and eastern parking
area. The combined flows from the north basin are then routed through a BioPod facility that
provides enhanced water quality treatment before discharging to the detention vault. The
detained runoff is then control-released to an existing manhole located north of the vault that
connects to the existing 24-inch culverted Dogwood Elm Creek. See water quality and flow
control sections of this report for detailed information.
Olympic Basin: As previously mentioned, in the existing condition, runoff from the western portion
of Olympic Boulevard runs onto the north basin. In the proposed condition, the addition of curb and
gutter along Olympic Boulevard allows the off-site basin runoff to be collected by a new catch basin
along Olympic Boulevard, which is then connected to the existing municipal system on the east side
of the street. The new curb, gutter, and sidewalk areas (non-pollution generating) are modeled as
bypass area for vault sizing. See the flow control section of this report for detailed information.
I
NAVIX Everett VA Clinic— Everett, WA 20
