I
TASK 3: FIELD INSPECTION
IUPSTREAM ANALYSIS
An upstream analysis was completed on November 12, 2019. The temperature was approximately
60 degrees and was cloudy. The culverted creek running through the site drains the neighborhood
Iimmediately to the south of the site in the Pigeon Creek No. 1 Basin. As seen in the site photos, the
inlet to the culverted creek is not accessible through public property. The culvert was also
videotaped and no apparent problems with the pipe integrity were observed. Additionally, no
Idrainage issues were reported by the City of Everett upstream of the site.
I As noted previously, this site receives run-on from the west side of Olympic Boulevard in the
existing condition. This run on will be mitigated with the installation of curb and gutter directing
runoff north along Olympic Boulevard where it will be captured and conveyed to the existing
I municipal system on the east side of the street. The other adjacent properties flow away from the
project site's property lines.
I DOWNSTREAM ANALYSIS
A downstream analysis was completed on November 12, 2019. The temperature was
approximately 60 degrees and was cloudy. The project site consists of two drainage sub-basins that
I discharge to the existing culverted creek. See Figure 10 below for the existing storm drainage
systems onsite as captured by the City of Everett GIS.
325f A3. i
_ ti
t .:. I U d
' AaTI.
