ORDINANCE NO. <br />0 <br />EVERETT <br />WASH I NGTON <br />An ORDINANCE creating a special improvement project entitled Hannabrook Park Improvement <br />Project, Fund 354, Program 085 to accumulate all costs for the project. <br />WHEREAS, <br />A. The City Council is committed to a planned parks capital improvement program as part of the City <br />of Everett Parks & Recreation Comprehensive Plan. <br />B. The City Council recognizes the need to improve the Hannabrook Park trail and its amenities. <br />C. The City Council recognizes the Parks and Recreation Open Space (PROS) Plan adopted in 2022 <br />identifies the development of trails and fitness activities as two of the top opportunities that will <br />benefit park users. <br />D. The City Council recognizes the need to improve and expand the trail systems and amenities <br />throughout the City Parks System. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br />Section 1. A special improvement project fund is hereby entitled Hannabrook Park Improvement <br />Project, Fund 354, Program 085 <br />Section 2. Authorization is hereby granted to the Parks and Facilities Department Director under <br />the administration of the Mayor, to assume full responsibility for conducting all tasks and performing all <br />necessary steps to accomplish the actions authorized by this Ordinance. <br />Section 3. The estimated cost of the project is $110,000. <br />Section 4. The sum of $110,000 is hereby appropriated to Fund 354, Program 085, Hannabrook <br />Park Improvement Project. <br />A. Source of Funds <br />CIP 3 $ 30,000 <br />Snohomish County REET 2 Funds $ 80,000 <br />Total $110,000 <br />
