12. (a). Uniformed members of the armed forces of the United States or of the United States Guard, and regular firemen, police, state patrol officers, sheriffs and regular deputy sheriff's, all when under official order. (b). Persons lawfully wearing any armband with insignia prescribed by the Director of the Office of Civilian Defense, and persons lawfully wearing armbands authorized for the Aircraft Warning Service, only when and to theextent that such _-ersons are required to move or remain away from shelter in the performance of their emergency duties. 10. LIQUOR. It shall be unlawful to sell any intoxicating liquors during a period as described herein. SECTION VIII- ENFORCaENT A:.D :1-E ALTIES. 1. Insignia and Permits. All persons are forbidden to wear,. exhibit, use, manufac- ture, sell, or offer for sale an armband,badge, uniform, ennant, permit,identification card or other identification or credentials embodying any official insignia prescribed by the Director of Civilian Defense or : rescribed for the Aircraft warning Service, or e<ny permits provided herein, or any simulation or adaptation hereof, or to cause any of. such things to be done, unless lawfully authorized to do so. 2. FALSE AIR RAID SIGNALS. All persons are forbidden to order, alter,publish, sound or simulate in any manner, any air raid warning or signal or all clear message or signal, or to cause any of such things to be done, unless ordered or authorized to do so by or under the authority of the Secretary of War or his representative. 2. This ordinance shall constitute an exercise by the City of its governmental functions for the protection of the public peace, hftlth and safety, and neither the City nor any individual responding to regulations lawfully proclaimed shall be liable in a suit for damages in connection therewith. 3.
