February 8, 2023 <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br /> <br />Council Member Rhyne requested an update on the Transit Consolidation Study. <br /> <br />Council Member Tuohy requested an update on the Waits Motel issues. <br /> <br />Lori Cummings, Administration, stated she would work with staff to bring updates to Council on <br />both requested topics. <br /> <br />President Stonecipher stated the February 22 meeting is a special meeting scheduled for 6:30 <br />p.m. instead of the regular day meeting. She also stated an ordinance is scheduled for first <br />reading next week to change all the council meetings to evening meetings. President Stonecipher <br />said she is working to update the Council Procedures within Resolution 7752, Section 9 to <br />incorporate the comments from the Retreat and action to adopt changes is forthcoming. <br /> <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATION UPDATE <br /> <br />Lori Cummings, Administration, had no updates. <br /> <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY <br /> <br />City Attorney David Hall requested a 10-minute executive session regarding a legal matter <br />pursuant to RCW 42.30.110(1)(i), with no announcement to follow. <br /> <br /> <br />CONSENT ITEMS: <br /> <br />Moved by Council Member Rhyne, seconded by Council Member Tuohy, to approve the <br />following consent items: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION – CLAIMS <br /> <br />To adopt Resolution No. 7863 authorizing claims against the City of Everett in the amount of <br /> $3,629,106.84 for the period of January 21, 2023, through January 27, 2023. <br /> <br /> CALL FOR BIDS – POLICE FACILITIES UPGRADES PROJECT <br /> <br />To authorize the call for bids for the Police Facilities Upgrades Project. <br /> <br /> <br />
