<br />EXISTING GRADE. THE MAJORITY OF THE SOILS ENCOUNTERED ON —SITE ARE SILTY, GRANULAR ALLUVIAL SOILS, WHICH

<br />THAT AN INTERNAL SYSTEM OF DITCHES, SUMP HOLES, AND PUMPS WILL BE ADEQUATE TO TEMPORARILY DEWATER
<br />EXCAVATIONS. FOR DEEPER EXCAVATIONS BELOW THE WATER TABLE, MORE EXTENSIVE DEWATERING EQUIPMENT, SUCH
<br />AS WELL POINTS, COULD BE NECESSARY IN ORDER TO TEMPORARILY DEWATER EXCAVATIONS. THE APPROPRIATE

<br />TV INSPECTION OF STORM AND SEWER PIPING
<br />ALL NEW STORM AND SEWER MAINS WITHIN THE PUBLIC RIGHT--OF--WAY AND THOSE IN EASEMENTS TO BE MAINTAINED
<br />BY THE CITY WILL BE SUBJECT TO A VISUAL INSPECTION WITH A TV CAMERA UNIT. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL
<br />PERFORM THE TV INSPECTION AND PROVIDE A CD OF THE VIDEO TO EVERETT PERMIT SERVICES TO BE REVIEWED BY
<br />THE CITY SEWER AND DRAINAGE DIVISION. ANY DEFICIENCIES NOTED BY THE TV CAMERA INSPECTION SHALL BE
<br />CORRECTED TO THE STATISFACTION OF THE CITY UTILITIES DIVISION.
<br />IT SHALL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CONTACTOR TO FURNISH MATERIALS AND INSTALL MONUMENTS AND
<br />CASTINGS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE DRAWINGS AND WHERE DIRECTED BY THE ENGINEER. ALL SURVEY WORK SHALL
<br />BE PERFORMED BY OR UNDER THE DIRECT SUPERVISION, OF A PROFESSIONAL LAND SURVEYOR (PLS) LICENSED IN THE
<br />STATE OF WASHINGTON. MONUMENT AND MONUMENT CASE AND COVER SHALL BE SUPPLIED AND INSTALLED PER CITY
<br />OF EVERETT STANDARD DRAWING 323 AND 324. EACH MONUMENT SHALL BE RECORDED ON THE CITY'S SURVEY
<br />RECORD FORM AND SUBBMITTED WITH THE PROJECT AS—BUILTS.
<br />SURVEYING, AS REQUIRED TO CONSTRUCT A GIVEN PROJECT PER THE APPROVED PLANS, SHALL BE FURNISHED BY
<br />THE DEVELOPER AT NO EXPENSE TO THE CITY. IT IS REQUIRED THAT SURVEY STAKES BE SET FOR NEW CURB AND
<br />GUTTER CONSTRUCTION, FOR BOTH HORIZONTAL AND VERTICAL CONTROL. ADDITIONALLY, ANY WATER, STORM DRAIN,
<br />OR SANITARY SERWER MAINS WHICH ARE TO BE CONSTRUCTED IN EASEMENTS ARE TO HAVE SURVEY OFFSET STAKES
<br />SET PRIOR TO STARTING WORK, AND ANY DEVIATION FROM THAT STAKED LINE MUST BE LEFT UNCOVERED AND
<br />RESURVEYED TO REALIGN EASEMENT AS REQUIRED AND FOR CORRECTED AS —BUILT INFORMATION.
<br />MONUMENTS SHALL BE LOCATED AT ALL CENTERLINE INTERSECCTIONS OF INTERSECTING STREETS. CURVED STREETS
<br />SHALL BE MONUMENTED AT CENTERLINE PI'S (POINT OF INTERSECTION), IF IT FALLS WITHIN THE STREET PAVEMENT,

<br />LAND CORNER RECORDS FOR THESE MONUMENTS, AND CERTIFICATION LETTER. IF UNACCEPTABLE ERRORS ARE FOUND
<br />DUE TO ERRORS OR OMISSIONS BY THE CONTRACTOR'S SURVEY ACTIVITIES, THEN THE CONTRACTOR SHALL CORRECT

<br />MANHOLES, FIRE HYDRANTS, VALVES, NEW AND EXISTING UTILITIES AND ALL OTHER MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS INCLUDED IN
<br />THE WORK. MARKING OF THE DRAWINGS SHALL REPRESENT ALL CHANGES, VERTICAL AND HORIZONTAL, AND BE DONE
