ry 1 <br /> (d) Every delicatessen store license shall authorize <br /> the person, firm or corporation therein named to conduct and <br /> operate a delicatessen store for the sale of cured meats in <br /> and upon the premises described in said license, and to sell <br /> said meets until the 31st day of December next following the <br /> issuance of such license, unless sooner revoked for cause , and <br /> said license may, et the discretion of the City Council, be <br /> transferred from one place to another or from one person, firm <br /> or corporation to another person, firm or corporation. <br /> (e ) The fee for any meat shop license shall be and <br /> the same is hereby fixed at the sum of Twenty-five Dollars ( 25.0. ) <br /> per annum; Provided that if one person, firm or corporation is <br /> operating in one place of business a wholesale and retail shop <br /> end/or a shop _ or the manufacture of meat products, or any two <br /> of them, only one license fee shall be pe id ; end provided further <br /> that the fee for any such license issued on or after August let <br /> of any year shall be Twelve end 50/00 Dollars (1 12.50) . <br /> ( f) The fee for any delicatessen store license shall <br /> be , and the same is hereby fixed et the sum of Ten Dollars <br /> ( >10.00) per annum; provided that the fee for any such license <br /> issued on or after August 1st of any year shall be Five Dollars <br /> ( 5.00) . <br /> (g) luny person desiring, to act as e meat salesman, or <br /> employed in the handling of meat in any regular way of trade , she 1 <br /> present himself to the Health Officer of the City of Everett for <br /> medical examination, which includes the ';:assermen test. If such <br /> Health Officer shall find that such person hes no contagious or <br /> communicable diseases he shall issue such person a health <br /> certificate . Said applicant shall present the said health <br /> certificate to the City Clerk of the City of :_verett and apply for <br /> a license es Meat Salesman and shall pay to the City Treasurer <br /> of the City of Everett the sum of Two and 50/00 Dollars ($2.50 ) . <br /> Upon presentation of said health certificate to the City Clerk <br /> and if in the opinion of the City Council said applicant hes <br /> complied with all the terms of this ordinance applicable thereto <br /> the City Council shall authorize the City Clerk to issue a <br /> license to such applicant . Said license for Meat Salesmen shall <br /> expire on the3lst day of December of each year. The Health <br /> Officer shall have the power to call for a health examination of <br /> any meat employee , at any time he deems it necessary. <br /> (h) Any such license may be revoked by the City <br /> Council for unclean habits of the holder, negligence in the <br /> handling of meats, fraud , dishonesty in the sale of meat , <br /> acquisition of a dangerous or loathsome disease , or if the <br /> meat salesman or employee is afflicated with a contagious or <br /> infectious disease, or any violation of the ordinances of the <br /> City of Everett , the laws of the State of ';ashington, or Federal <br /> laws relating to the preparation, handling or sale of meat or <br /> meat products. <br /> ection 2: hn emergency is declared to exist and <br /> this ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and publication. <br /> Attest: mayor <br /> o7' <br /> City lerk <br /> Passed: <br /> Published: .2-/ 4 -4,1 <br />
