<br />City of Everett – Replacement of Reservoir 3 15 Scope of Services <br />Subtask 700.4 – Survey Support Services (1-Alliance) <br />Consultant Services <br />1. Perform comprehensive ground topographic survey of the entire City-owned property <br />where the existing Reservoir No. 3 is located, including: 1’ contours, buildings, structures <br />including top and invert elevations with approximate pipe sizes and materials at each <br />manhole and catch basin , underground utilities based on utility locates and as-built <br />drawings, above ground appurtenances such as power poles, above ground utility lines <br />including wire height above ground, fire hydrants, valves, and trees greater than 6- <br />inches in diameter at breast height. <br />2. Perform comprehensive sub-surface utility locates over the project area. <br />3. Project management, research, layout, scheduling, PLS review & certification, & <br />submittals. <br />Client Responsibilities <br />1. Facilitate surveyor access to Reservoir 3 site. <br />2. Provide as-built information. <br />3. Perform underground utility locates. <br />Assumptions: <br />1. Utilize existing published NAD 83/91 (or /98 /2007) horizontal survey control & existing <br />published NAVD 88 vertical survey control in the project area. All research will be done <br />through on-line resources or conversations with the jurisdictions having authority. <br />2. Preparation of a comprehensive existing conditions base map will be provided in <br />AutoCAD Civil 3D format and conform to City CADD standards. <br />3. No land acquisition, permanent, and/or temporary construction easements are <br />anticipated to be required for this project. <br />Deliverables: <br />1. Draft and Final existing conditions base map in PDF & CAD (Civil3D). <br /> <br />Subtask 700.5 – Geotechnical (HWA GeoSciences) <br />Consultant Services <br />1. Geotechnical Coordination. The Consultant shall attend up to 3 meetings with the City <br />and design team to discuss geotechnical issues and recommendations. The Consultant <br />shall attend up to 6 meetings with the design team to discuss recommendations. <br />2. Geotechnical Task Management. Consultant will provide task management to all <br />geotechnical related aspects of the project. Consultant will correspond with City and the <br />design team in the form of meetings, emails, fax, and telephone calls, as necessary. <br />Consultant will initiate the project and set up billing information in support of invoicing <br />throughout the project and will prepare monthly invoices, and progress reports for the <br />duration of the design phase of the project.
