January 25, 2012. <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at <br /> 12:30 p.m., January 25, 2011 in the City Council Chambers of the Everett <br /> City Hall, President Gipson presiding. Upon roll call it was found that <br /> Mayor Stephanson and Council Members Moore, Hatloe, Gipson, and <br /> Nielsen were present. Council Members Roberts, Stonecipher and <br /> Affholter were excused. <br /> Council Member Hatloe led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the January 18, 2011 Everett City Council meeting were <br /> approved as printed. Council Member Moore abstained from the vote. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Mayor Stephanson reported that he presented the State of the City <br /> Address this morning sponsored by the Economic Alliance of Snohomish <br /> County. There were many in attendance and for those who were unable <br /> to attend it will be shown on government TV. <br /> CITY COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Moore complimented Mayor Stephanson on the State of <br /> the City Address as being very informative and encouraged citizens to <br /> watch the program. <br /> Council Members Hatloe and Nielsen echoed Council Member Moore's <br /> comments. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> Jim Iles, City Attorney, requested an executive session regarding a <br /> collective bargaining matter pursuant to RCW 42.30.140(4) to last <br /> approximately fifteen minutes at the end of the meeting with no <br /> announcement following. <br /> 22 <br />
