ORDINANCE No. <br /> 29 72 . <br /> AN ORDINANCE appropriating money from the Everett State <br /> Aid Fund paid to the City of Everett pursuant to Chapter 81, <br /> Session Laws of 1943, for the year 1943, for medical supplies, <br /> stationery, stamps and miscellaneous expenditures and for rental <br /> for a building for use of Everett Housing Authority, for the use <br /> of United States Citizens Service Corps created under the Everett <br /> Civilian Defense Council, in the sum of Forty-six Hundred Dollars <br /> (kP 4600.00 ) and declaring an emergency. <br /> THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That there be and hereby is appropriated <br /> out of the Everett State Aid Fund paid to the City of Everett <br /> pursuant to Chapter 81 , Session Laws of 1943, for the use of the <br /> United States Citizens Service Corps created by the Everett <br /> Civilian Defense Council the following sums , for the following <br /> purposes, to-wit : <br /> For medical supplies 03000 .00 <br /> For stationery, stamps and <br /> miscellaneous expenditures 1000.00 <br /> For rental of building for use <br /> of Everett Housing Authority 600.00 <br /> Total 4600.00. <br /> Section 2 : That expenditures shall be made from <br /> said appropriation on claims duly presented to the City of Everett, <br /> duly approved by the United States Citizens Service Corps, or by <br /> its proper officers, and by the City Council of Everett , and <br /> shall be paid by warrants drawn on said fund signed by the City <br /> Clerk of the City of Everett and the iayor of said City. <br /> Section 3: An emergency is declared to exist end <br /> this ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and publication, <br /> Mayor <br /> Attest: <br /> City Clerk <br /> Passed: April 1,f, 1943 . <br /> Published:Apri l l�/ 1943 . <br />
