Several acres of the original parcel are to be sold to Canyon Lumber Co., immediately
I south of the project area. Site plans provided to MGI by representatives of Penske Truck Leasing
show that the final parcel area will be roughly 10.42 acres after the appropriate adjustments have
been made to the property lines. The site is bound to the south by Canyon Lumber Co.,to the west
I by a Northern Pacific Railroad line,to the north by an undeveloped industrial parcel, and to the east
by several properties belonging to the City of Everett. The project site and surrounding parcels are
located within an industrial area west of the Snohomish River and east of the BNSF Railroad line.
IThis area has historically been used as a log yard for the Kimberly-Clark Corporation, which closed
its Everett operations in April of 2012 after selling much of the land in the early 2000's.
