These maps indicate that the project site is located within a liquefaction hazard area and <br />the site contains a very high/severe erosion hazard area and a medium slope landslide hazard area. However, <br />Critical Areas Map 3 indicates that very high/severe erosion hazard areas are associated with slopes steeper than <br />40%. Also, this map is dated 2006. Therefore, it is likely that the erosion hazard and landslides hazard areas indicated <br />are due to the previous land use of the project site in 2006 for material stockpiling. According to City of Everett <br />Critical Areas Map 6 (see Appendix E), the Snohomish River near the project area is home to regular large <br />concentrations of waterfowl. Parts of the project site are located below the 100-year base flood elevation. <br />Therefore, the project includes the placement of fill material to bring the site above the flood elevation. <br />SITTS & HILL ENGINEERS, INC.
