INSIGHT ENGINEERING CO.
i
November 26, 2018
Paul McKee, Engineering/Permit Services
3200 Cedar Street
Everett, WA 98201
(425)257-8810
Re: The Landing at Port Gardner—Permit#: PW 1805-050
IECO No. 17-0891
Dear Paul,
The project referenced above is revised in response to the review comments dated November 21,
2018. The review comments are numbered on the letter and have been addressed in italics as
follows:
1. Please see the list of comments below&revise plans accordingly prior to resubmitting to
the Permit Services Counter. Please note that these comments are compiled from Public
Works reviewers for the Public Works (civil)plans only. The applicant team may receive
separate comment letters from the Building Department and/or the Planning Department
for architectural or other types of drawings.
DRAINAGE REPORT(Stormwater Plans):
1. Stormwater detention system must be watertight and able to pass leak down test during
inspection. Replacement of detention system with one that meets City standards will be
required if system fails to pass leak testing.
The proposed stormwater detention system has a PVC liner within the system and should
pass a leak test.
2. Provide Ecology approved pretreatment device upstream of detention system to prevent
sediment buildup—show and call out on plans.
We are proposing an Aquaswirl pretreatment system for the roof drains. The detail of the
system is provided on sheet C4.4
PO Box 1478 • Everett, WA 98206 • Phone: (425)303-9363
Fax: (425)303-9362 • Email:info@insightengineering.net
