ORDIIA T'Ci NO. z 9W6 AN ORDINA CE amending Lection 11 of Ordinance No. 869 of the City of Everett , entitled as follows: "An Ordinance relating to -the removal of garbage, refuse, ashes, filth, and other substances in the City of Everett, relating to the licensing of city scavengers, prescribing the powers and duties of such scavengers, regulating the amount of charges to be made by them for scavenger work, prescribing the yullishment for the violation thereof and repealing Ordinances No. 33, No. 44, and No. 299 of the City of Everett, " and declaring an emergency, and providing that this ordinance shall take effect on August 1, 1942. THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That Section 11 of Ordinance No. 869, entitled as above set forth, be , and the sane is hereby amended to read as follows: Section 11: The City Scavenger shall receive no compensation from the City of Everett for any services per- formed for any person, firm or corporation other than the 0ity. Such compensation shall be collected by them from the person or persons, firm or corporation for whom the work shall have been performed. (b) The charge for collecting garbage and refuse from hotels, restaurants, boarding houses, eating planes, apartment houses, hospitals and business places shall be as follows: One garbage can per week 1.00 per month; over ione x ca� can 75V per can per month for each additional can up per week; for additional cans over six cans per week a charge of 10¢ per can shall be made .
