The upstream site area consists of developed both multi-family and single-family homes.
Considering the site and surrounding area topography and through field observation,
there are nominal amount of tributary runoff entering the site if any.No identifiable
watercourses were observed crossing the site.
Erosion control for the site will consist of filter fabric fences situated on the perimeter
boundary of the site and by the installation of a rock construction entrance. Catch basin
sediment control will be installed for all existing catch basins within the project limits
and downstream in the vicinity of the project. The stormwater runoff from paved
surfaces will be directed to a detention tank by a catch basin conveyance system. The
site will be graded to sheet flow the runoff to the catch basins that will discharge to the
detention tank. Roof runoff will be tight lined to the storm drain system. The detention
tank will discharge to an existing storm drain system installed along the east side of 19th
Avenue SE.
2. Area of site (square feet): The project site covers 18,412 SQ.FT. (0.4227 of an acre)
3. Proposed area of land disturbance(square feet): 18,412
4. Proposed quantity of excavation(cubic yards): 645
5. Proposed quantity of fill (cubic yards): 0
6. Total proposed impervious area to be constructed(square feet): 12,632
7. Existing site conditions including descriptions of existing topography, existing vegetation, and
existing drainage:
The project site was developed with a single-family house and detached outbuilding.
Existing vegetation consists of landscaping, low brush, grass and bushes. The site is
accessed from 19th Avenue SE.
The site generally flat with some local 2% slopes and contains no wetlands, creeks
or streams. The site is within a neighborhood that consists of both multi-family and
single-family homes. There might be a nominal amount of tributary runoff entering
the site from the north. Existing storm sheet flow over the site toward an existing
storm system on 19th Avenue SE.
Review of all available information: Conducted site review and reviewed available
information from the City of Everett and Snohomish County mapping system and
found no critical areas, erosion or landslide hazard areas within quarter mile of the
project site. Also, there are no streams, wetland or flood areas and no water quality
issues has been identified.
The soil hydrologic types for this site have been Also identified as Type C from the
Snohomish County Soil Survey Map. This soil, Alderwood Urban Complex, this soil
is moderately deep and moderately well drained over hardpan. More detailed soils
information provided as part of the geotechnical engineering evaluation prepared by
Nelson Geotechnical Associates, Inc.
2
