Structural, 21.This comment has not been completely addressed. If the proposed wood shear walls have fastener nailing spaced at 3"oc, please provide a schedule of Special Inspections per IBC 1704.3. 22.This comment has not been completely addressed. From the revised permit calculations, it appears that two lateral-force resisting systems are being used on this project, wood shear walls and special reinforced concrete shear walls. It also appears that (2) different R-factors are being applied in orthogonal directions, with R=6.5 applied in the East-West direction of lateral force and R=5.0 applied in the North-South direction of lateral load. This appears to imply that the North-South resisting wood shear walls are being designed for the lower R-factor of 5.0 for the whole structure. Please confirm if the structure is being designed for two different R-factors entirely. 23.This comment has been addressed. 24.This comment has not been completely addressed.
