Yes, we are using a wall designed with 3"oc nailing and this
generally falls into a special inspection category, but has always been completed
by City inspectors. This is one wall plane on the bottom floor only, on the west
facing wall. All of the other walls on this floor exceed 4"oc nailing.
22.Per the phone conversation, the calculations have been completely revised.
23.The calculations have been revised per the requests from the phone
conversation.
24.The concrete columns have been completely revised and the new details are on
the plans.
25.This basically applies to walls that have nailing patterns less than 4"oc edge
nailing. Any walls with shear walls above using the SW-2 above would be
required to use this detail.
26.The Lumber Loading note has been corrected.
27.The new parapet detail should resolve this issue with the exterior sheathing
extending up beyond the roof main diaphragm., and the diaphragm extending to
the exterior wall.
If you have any other questions feel free to call me at 425-345-2530.
Dante
