12. Even if it were a <br /> straight gable it would not resemble the main home.As to the pitch of the roof,they are both in <br /> the range of low pitch.The main pitch on the ADU is-1.5 and the house is likely 4.They are both <br /> considered low. Medium being 5-8 and steep being 9-12 and up.The low pitch also keeps the <br /> height down to a reasonable level.The exterior appearance was preferred over what was on the <br /> main house which resembles an early century tcalloped ship lap siding Vhich is in vinyl. It is <br /> somew a unsightly and has damage in places and will be replaced at some point soon.We also <br /> have plans to add a roof system over the entry to the main house which will incorporate a lower <br /> roof pitch which will match the ADU. <br /> 13. Space to right of second floor:See section "B"sheet S5 which shows this area as open to the <br /> living space below. <br /> 14. Survey requirements:The current layout is proposed to be 5'-6"from the existing fencing at one <br /> point at the SW corner of the living room.The layout will be moved 6"to reflect a proposed <br /> setback from fence/property line of 6'-0". <br /> 15. Height limits:The overall height of the building above the Average base elevation is 16'-2" as <br /> noted and clouded on sheet S2 (elevations) Maximum elevation has been amended per the 18' <br /> rule.
