City of Everett Water Treatment Facility Blower Building <br /> <br />Scope of Services 2 <br />EXHIBIT A <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />Background <br />The City of Everett, Washington (City) has selected BHC Consultants, LLC (BHC) to provide <br />engineering services for the City of Everett Water Treatment Blower Building Project. <br />Currently, there is only one blower for the City’s water treatment process. The current blower is <br />in a pre-engineered metal building located outside and adjacent to the main water treatment <br />facility. The City has purchased a second identical blower and plans to construct a new <br />pre-engineered metal building adjacent to the existing blower building to house the existing and <br />new blowers and supporting electrical equipment. <br />This scope of services includes the project management, design necessary to prepare bid <br />documents, and bid assistance associated with the blower building. <br />Scope of Services <br />Task 100 – Project Management <br />Objectives <br />Monitor, control and adjust scope, schedule, and budget as well as provide monthly status <br />reporting, accounting, and invoicing. Also, provide coordination with BHC staff and City <br />personnel. <br />BHC Services <br />1. Coordinate and manage the project team. <br />2. Prepare monthly status reports describing the following: <br />a. Services completed during the month. <br />b. Services planned for the next month. <br />c. Needs for additional information. <br />d. Scope/schedule/budget issues. <br />e. Schedule update and financial status summary . <br />f. An estimated cash flow (billing) forecast. <br />3. Prepare monthly invoices formatted in accordance with contract terms. <br />4. Attend kickoff meeting at the water treatment facility. Attendance by BHC PM, electrical, <br />mechanical process, and structural engineers. <br />5. Host web-conference meetings, if needed. <br />City of Everett Responsibilities <br />1. Attend project management meetings. <br />2. Attend kickoff meeting. <br />3. Processing and payment of invoices in accordance with the Professional Services <br />Agreement. <br />4. Review and process contract change requests and amendments, if needed.
