2.D. Describe how your services will help us achieve and maintain our goals as listed in
Section 2.
In addition to items noted in the approach benefits, our approach will specifically help the City achieve and maintain the
goals listed or referenced in Section 2 as follows:
• During the kickoff meeting, our team will work with City staff to ensure that we thoroughly understand all goals of
the RFP and any additional objectives. Through our project management and coordination, we will have frequent
check-ins and communications with the City to check on project progress against goals
• Our agile project management process and responsive firms will ensure that the team, together with the City,
achieves all milestones and date goals listed in Section 2, as shown in the Timeline in 2.A.
• Our team’s approach and purpose-built fleet electrification platform is especially well-suited to address the City’s
goal to continue electrification and to provide a Fleet Electrification Transition Plan that outlines the most effective
pathway to that full implementation.
• Our modeling approach will deliver transition planning steps for both Transit and Paratransit fleets, which are
objectives of the requested services.
• We will provide cost efficient charging approaches and infrastructure recommendations that support Everett Transit
fiscal management goals and quality of service.
• Our cost analysis and Funding Needs Assessment, will include recommendations to leverage continued
opportunities for federal and state funding and the City’s investments to date.
• We are adept in the practical application of transit, climate, clean energy, and technology policies at state and
federal levels, ensuring the City’s goals for FTA compliance and local, state, and federal Policy and Legislation
consistency are met.
• The Fleet Electrification Transition Plan our team produces will also be congruent with other City plans and support
wider City goals such as those from the City’s Climate Action Plan, including GHG reduction, air quality, equity, and
other goals.
• Our integrated, multidisciplinary and stakeholder-driven experience in transit, fleet transition, EV, climate and
energy will help us meet the City’s goals for Stakeholder Coordination and continued as well as additional
Partnerships with agencies, utilities and others; support the City in continuing to expand renewable energy
generation options; and will will also align our analysis with the latest industry and agency assumptions.
• Our leadership in transportation and climate equity, and data-driven analysis approaches, will allow us to inform
the City’s added goal emphasis on Equitable Service Planning for continued electrification, and to recommend
Equitable Engagement strategies
29
29
