2.H. Describe your process to ensure compliance with Washington State and Federal Transit Administration laws and regulations. Our team has extensive experience working with transit agencies in multiple states, and is currently working on a similar Zero-Emission Fleet Transition Plan in Washington State. Planning Communities will draw from this work to ensure a thorough compilation and analysis under Task 3 - Policy Assessment of existing literature on rules and regulations that govern fleet transition plans at the Washington State and federal levels to ensure compliance and identify requirements that may either support the ZEV transition or create challenges. All of the members of our team are well-versed in FTA laws and regulations, and are adept at understanding and incorporating state and local requirements into our approaches. With the team’s national and industry experience, we will share and apply best practices from other states and agencies to respond to challenges and leverage opportunities that may arise. 32 32
