Qualifications & Relevant Experience <br />Planning Communities has assembled a team of DBE and non-profit firms that are innovative, focused and purpose-driven to provide <br />the City of Everett and Everett Transit with a state of the practice Fleet Electrification Transition Plan for its transit fleet. Our team offers <br />deep experience in fleet transition planning, alternative vehicle technologies, transit issues and operations, zero emissions bus (ZEB) <br />workforce and human resources, equity/environmental justice, and climate and emissions analysis that are ideally suited to preparing <br />a Fleet Electrification Transition Plan that meets Washington state and federal regulatory requirements in an effective and efficient <br />manner while also fostering strong partnerships, reducing emissions, supporting Everett Transit's workforce, and improving outcomes <br />for all area communities. The composition of our team and staff will allow us to meet the needs of the City of Everett and Everett <br />Transit for the advertised services in the most lean, effective and responsive manner possible. <br />A. Community, transportation, and environmental planning <br />services include: community resiliency; climate/sea level /vulnerability & risk assessment planning and policy implementation; <br />bicycle and pedestrian, planning; transit emissions and fleet studies, ridership surveys, planning and compliance; and environmental <br />studies; NEPA documentation; economic and fiscal analyses; economic impact contribution studies; cost-benefit, analyses; <br />community outreach and facilitation; visioning/scenario planning; land use studies; socioeconomic analysis; equity, environmental <br />justice and Title VI reviews; limited English proficiency outreach; community asset mapping; and interagency coordination. <br />Planning Communities has been in business nearly 16 years and is headquartered Raleigh, North Carolina, with offices in Beaverton, <br />Oregon, San Jose, California, Lehi, Utah, and New Braunfels, Texas and is a certified DBE in North Carolina, Tennessee, Delaware, <br />Massachusetts, Minnesota, Rhode Island, Ohio, Oregon, Texas, Kansas and Florida. The firm became recently certified in Oregon and is <br />exploring certification in additional states including Washington.
