ANSWERS TO QUESTIONS SUBMITTED FOR CLARIFICATION Q1 Could you clarify Materials used for Green Pavement Markings Can I use Type B or Type D Materials for Items 19,20 and 23?-Al: Yes, Type B and Type D Materials are allowed for Bike Markings. Q2 How does painting parking lines get paid? -A2: Parking lines are paid for by bid item#18, Plastic Line, per LF. Q3 Is there a detail for the bike buffer layout and is there RPMs on bike buffer? Items 14 & 18 include what profiled plastic lines? -A3:No, details of the bike lane buffer were not in the bid plan set but are issued as part of this Addendum#1. Raised pavement markers(RPMs) are not on the bike buffer. Profiled plastic lines are not in this project. Q4 pertains to the Traffic Loops. I am curious if all the locations indicated on the drawings already had existing loops in place which would include the bike loops as well as traffic loops. After using google earth it seemed like there were only a couple spots where I could see visible loops. Being that there isn't any drawings indicating that we land wires in the control panel it leads me to believe all we are doing is splicing in an existing J-box.
